Job Responsibilities:

• Research and develop new products to meet customer requirements and evolving market needs.
• Improve existing products by enhancing quality, performance, functionality, and overall cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new raw materials, technologies, and technical solutions for potential application in product development and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct testing and trials on product formulations, prototypes, raw materials, and production processes to verify quality, safety, performance, and reliability.
• Analyse and interpret technical and test data to identify root causes and resolve product, process, and technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve products in line with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation and standards, including product formulations, testing procedures, specifications, and technical information.
• Monitor market trends, competitor developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate directly with customers to understand technical requirements, provide product support, and address product development-related enquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within the Wire Harness, Automotive, or related manufacturing industry.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D and automotive quality tools, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, and APQP.
• Good understanding of relevant quality management systems and manufacturing standards.
• Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
