Sourcing Manager – Thailand (Asia & China)

We are looking for a high-impact, commercially driven Sourcing Manager who thrives on delivering measurable results. This role is about execution at pace – reducing cost, accelerating sourcing, and ensuring right entry cost for new product introductions.

The mandate

Based at our Thailand factory, you take full ownership of sourcing across raw materials and components, with a particular focus on few high-cost categories and new product development. Your success will be defined by how fast you can secure the right suppliers at the right price – and how effectively you build a cost-competitive supply base in Asia.

You will leverage supplier markets in China and Southeast Asia while building a strong local sourcing footprint close to the factory to maximize flexibility and minimize lead times.

You will be trained in product knowledge and receive great support from colleagues in Thailand, Latvia and Denmark.

Some travelling activity in Southeast Asia and China is to be expected.

You will have cross reference to local Supply Chain Manager and directly to Group COO.

Key deliverables (KPIs)

• Deliver 5–10% annual cost reductions across key categories

• Secure best-in-market pricing from initial sourcing phase on all new product introductions

• Reduce time-to-source and supplier onboarding lead time significantly

• Establish a high-performing supplier base in China and locally in Thailand

• Drive design-to-cost in close collaboration with R&D from early development stages

What you bring

• Proven ability to deliver measurable cost savings and fast sourcing execution

• Strong background in sourcing could be from EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or similarly complex manufacturing environments

• A top-tier negotiator with a sharp commercial mindset

• Deep experience with Asian sourcing markets, particularly China

• Track record of building local supplier networks near production sites

• Hands-on, and results-oriented – you get things done

• Strong in English; if you can communicate in Chinese is a plus
