Data Scientist (Manager Level)

Responsibilities

• Extract huge volumes of data from multiple sources e.g. including DWH, Big Data Hadoop, Data Lake; and with various formats e.g. Structured, Text, Voice, Image, etc.

• Formulate hypotheses for testing and designing experiments to capture new data.

• Explore and examine data from a variety of angles to determine hidden weaknesses, trends and/or opportunities

• Develop models and conduct analysis using tools which may include Oracle SQL, SAS, Python, R, MapReduce, Minitab, etc.

• Employ sophisticated analytics programs and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling and AI.

• Develop Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI algorithm to solve respective business cases and pain points.

• Communicate predictions and findings to management and other relevant parties through effective data visualizations, reports, and presentations.

• Identify practical approach to test and learn key hypotheses to extend analytic insight.

• Keep updated with technology and trends that can benefit Data Science field

• (For Data Master) Design data-science strategy and roadmap for the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor / Master s’ degree in Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Computer Engineer, or related fields with heavy concentration in statistics and quantitative-oriented majors.

• A rigorous understanding of the fundamentals of statistics applied to business challenges and microeconomics is required

• Familiar with decision techniques including optimization, simulation, regression, decision trees, neural networks, cluster analysis, mixed models

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Oracle SQL, and Python, or other related data programing languages and statistical tools

• Solid experience in traditional analytics, text analytics, voice analytics, Machine Learning, Deep learning, and AI

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills

• Strong business acumen; sound business-sense and judgment.

• Excellent relationship management, strong team working, and the ability to work across business units and functions within complex organizations.

• (For Data Master) Strong leadership skills with team-building ability and work well with new-tech talents

• Background in Banking or Financial institution is a plus

Work Location: KSPT Building, BTS Ploenchit, Bangkok
