Safety Officer (1 year contract)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Safety Officer to join the team at OTIS Elevator Company (Thailand) Limited in Suan Luang, Bangkok. As a full-time Safety Officer on a 1 year contract, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees across our operations. This is a key role that will have a direct impact on the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate safety risks

2. Providing training and guidance to employees on safety practices and procedures

3. Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to safety activities

6. Collaborating with managers and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture

7. Assisting with the development and implementation of safety policies and programmes

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role

2. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices in the construction industry

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees

4. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety issues

5. Highly organised with attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety management

6. Relevant safety certifications or qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
