Head of IT

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Oversee and manage the entire Information Technology department and ensure that our company’s technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and meet the needs of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Plan and execute IT strategy and policies to support business strategy

·       Initiate and manage technology solutions to meet various business needs and company efficiencies.

·       Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department

·       Lead development and implementation processes and project for IT systems.

·       Ensure administration and maintenance of overall infrastructure i.e. hardware, software, and network, as well as application systems are in place so that the overall company’s IT systems are well operated and stable.

·       Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.

·       Spearhead IT audits and work on closures of open audit points. Update Board and Risk management committee on audit topics.

·       Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

·       Work with Group Technology team to ensure group IT blue print is executed and regularly participate in group technology meetings

·       Update regularly to other Excom members on various IT projects status locally and also to group CTO

·       Develop and introduce processes, procedures, and systems, to ensure the cyber security and confidentiality of all company data and to provide protection against internal and external threats.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s Degree or above in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field

·       At least 10 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Project Management, Application Development, Database Management, IT Security, and IT Infrastructure.

·       Experience in leading and managing IT team

·       Experience in Insurance Business will be an advantage.

·       Strong knowledge of latest trends in technology

·       Strong Analytical and problem-solving skill

·       Excellent communication and presentation skill 

·       Proficiency in Thai and English speaking/writing

·       Service-Minded
