Medical Correspondence Physician (International Language)

Bangkok Hospital Headquarters is one of Thailand’s leading private hospitals, serving a large number of international patients from around the world each year. To strengthen our International Services team, we are now seeking a qualified Medical Correspondence Physician. This position is ideal for medical graduates with strong communication skills in English and/or other international languages who are motivated to deliver world-class patient care through professional medical communication.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and verify medical correspondence, reports, referral letters, and discharge summaries for international patients in accordance with international standards.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and hospital departments to ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication.

• Translate complex medical terminology into clear and patient-friendly information in English and other assigned languages.

• Serve as a key communication bridge between medical teams and patients, ensuring that patients fully understand their medical condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care.

• Support the International Patient Center by assisting with documentation, cross-department coordination, and communication with embassies, insurance companies, or external healthcare providers as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and consistency across all medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and international standards.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.

• Strong proficiency in English (knowledge of Chinese, Japanese, Burmese, or other international languages is an advantage).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex medical terms for patients.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• A professional, service-minded approach with cultural sensitivity for international patients.

• Prior experience in healthcare, hospital operations, or patient support is an advantage, though fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
