R&D Engineer (Shock Absorber Products)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related Engineering field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical or vehicle engineering.

• Experience in product development process; hands-on with vehicles preferred.

• Proficient in 3D CAD software (experience with QMS is a plus).

• Good command of English; Thai is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work under pressure and deliver results in a multicultural environment.

• Passion for motorcycles/automotive is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop suspension applications (shock absorbers, front fork, steering damper).

• Measure vehicles, collect technical data, and support product development.

• Prepare and manage technical documents: BOM, assembly drawings, mounting instructions, manuals, spare parts lists.

• Plan and manage project schedules, track testing, and production documentation.

• Provide technical support and handle drawings for production and applications.

• Cooperate with Sweden R&D team, internal departments, and external partners.

• Follow Quality & Environmental policies (ISO9001 / ISO14001).

This role involves designing and developing world-class suspension systems in collaboration with Öhlins Racing Sweden AB, supporting technical projects, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the riding and driving experience.
