Survey Engineer – Port Site

Location: Map Ta Phut, Rayong

Position Summary
The Survey Engineer is responsible for conducting and managing surveying activities to support construction and engineering works at the project site. The role ensures accurate measurements, layout control, and verification of construction works in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, land, and construction surveys for project activities

• Perform setting out, leveling, alignment, and coordinate control using surveying instruments

• Verify dimensions, elevations, and positions according to approved drawings and specifications

• Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related tools

• Prepare survey reports, coordinate data, calculations, and as-built documentation

• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to support construction activities

• Monitor survey accuracy and resolve discrepancies found on site

• Support progress measurement and quantity verification when required

• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project quality and safety standards

• Assist in preparing technical documents and survey-related records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, marine, or industrial projects

• Proficient in surveying equipment and related software applications

• Able to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings

• Familiar with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other survey software

• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Able to work under pressure and manage site operations independently

• Knowledge of site safety regulations and construction standards

• Professional survey/engineering license is an advantage

• Experience in EPC or large-scale construction projects preferred
