Accounting Manager

Job description:

• Oversee the operation of our accounting team, including AP, AR, costing, fixed assets, GL, and taxes, to provide accounting information to management and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and ensure timely and accurate submission of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial statements. Review and ensure proper processing of accounting transactions and documentation.

• Coordinate with external auditors/tax, and government authorities to ensure that the company's accounting practice follows all relevant TFRS/IFRS standards and statutory requirements.

• Manage accounting operations for more than three companies with high-volume transactions (Thailand and Malaysia)

• Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Review and ensure accuracy of monthly tax filings, including VAT (PP.30, PP.36) and withholding tax returns (PND.1, 2, 3, 53, 54).

• Review and submit annual Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns (PND.50 and PND.51).

• Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.

• Plan, execute, and continuously improve accounting processes in all cycles and ensure proper internal control measures are sufficiently in place.

• Lead and develop the accounting team by managing performance, setting team goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong team relationships.

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or related fields, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting requirements.

• CPD license is required; CPA certification is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in the food industry is an advantage.

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or other ERP systems is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
