Piping Lead Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Reviews the client's technical documentation and all relevant regulations, standards, and code requirements.

• Design, check, and interpret engineering drawings and technical calculations, ensuring timely delivery of drawings.

• Responsible for arranging piping design work notices according to project requirements and relevant regulations, as well as distributing them to relevant personnel for utilization.

• Provision of the engineering man-hours estimation and monitoring for the detailed design project (EPC) execution.

• Perform procurement work for piping material.

• Coordinating with other engineering and design discipline team members.

• Communicating change orders and executing change management processes.

• Provides technical support to the project group.

• Supervise team members to be familiar with and follow each work procedure for executing the design work, which ensures the quality and requirements of HSE.

• Carry out the obligation of checking or approving piping deliverables.

• Provide work orientation and on-the-job training to newcomers.

• Assist in the development of standards, manuals, and work processes.

• Supervise plant installation, commission, and maintenance.

• Proficient in using piping 3D Model software, such as the S3D or E3D

Qualification

•  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Detailed knowledge of piping engineering, both design and calculation.

• Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEIC score required at least 550)

• Working knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and standards.

• 10 years or more years of experience in detailed design projects (EPC) execution of piping engineering activities related to refinery, petrochemical plant, and power plant.

• Minimum 3 years of piping leader position for relevant experience in the oil & gas, LNG industry, or Advanced Technology Factory (Semiconductor, Data Center)

• Minimum 3 years' experience of Construction filed for Piping Supervisor or QC engineer.
