Cost Estimation Engineer (Proposal & Costing)
Job Responsibilities
Analyze customer requirements, RFQ, TOR, drawings, and specifications to prepare technical proposals and tender documents.
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, cost breakdowns, quotations, and commercial proposals by coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.
Support the team with technical information and documentation, including recommending suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timeline.
Maintain and manage quotation, pricing, and supplier cost databases for future reference and cost estimation.
Support project handover after receiving purchase orders and contribute to improving the proposal and cost estimation process for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
1–3 years of experience in Cost Estimation, Proposal, Tender, Project Engineering, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of Automation, Control Systems, Electrical, Instrumentation, or System Integration.
Able to read technical specifications, drawings, RFQ, TOR, and Scope of Work.
Good skills in Excel, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
