Position : Senior  Manager Innovation and Product Development

About the role

This is a Senior Manager - Innovation and Product Development role responsible for defining strategy and managing the product portfolio for Smart Security, Smart Access, IoT and Smart Property Solutions. The role spans market research and customer needs analysis, technology and partner sourcing, solution design and business model development, product testing, pricing, sales team support, and monitoring of revenue, profit and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Product Strategy and Product Roadmap for 1–3 years aligned with KATSAN revenue and profit targets

• Analyze current product portfolio including CCTV, AI Camera, LPR, Face Recognition, Access Control, Barrier Gate, Visitor Management, Intercom, Smart Parking, EV Charger, Solar, IoT Sensor and Command Center

• Segment products into Core Product, Growth Product, New Product and products to be discontinued or replaced

• Analyze Market Trend, Customer Pain Point, Competitor, Technology Trend and Product Gap

• Develop Product Business Case covering target market, revenue, cost, GP, investment, Payback Period and risk

• Define Product Requirement, Solution Architecture at business level and Customer Journey

• Establish standards for Hardware, Software, Cloud, API, Mobile Application and after-sales service

• Manage Product Lifecycle from Idea, Feasibility, Pilot, Launch, Scale-up to Phase-out

• Own revenue and Gross Profit targets for products in portfolio and develop Annual Product Revenue Plan with Sales, Finance and Operations teams

• Design Pricing Model, Cost Structure, Margin Structure and Discount Authority

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field

• Minimum 8–12 years of total work experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Solution Management, Business Development or Presales

• Experience working in a System Integrator company or concrete SI project management responsibility

• Experience with at least 3 product groups including CCTV, AI Camera, LPR, Access Control, Face Recognition, Barrier Gate, IoT, Smart Parking, Command Center or Smart Building

• Understanding of Hardware, Software, Network, Cloud, API and System Integration operations

• Ability to develop Business Case, Product P&L, Pricing, BOM, GP and Revenue Forecast

• Experience in vendor selection and negotiation with Technology Partners

• Ability to work with Sales, Engineering, Installation, Software, Procurement and Finance teams

• Experience taking products from Idea or Sourcing through Pilot, Launch and Commercial Scale

• Business-level English communication and ability to work with international partners

• Ability to travel to other provinces and countries as required
