Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our new plant in Thailand. You will lead procurement, material purchasing, logistics, and warehouse activities. Your main job is to ensure good material supply, low cost, good supplier quality, and BOI compliance for plant start-up and mass production.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management:

• Buy raw materials, machinery, and services from local and overseas suppliers.

• Find new suppliers and negotiate good prices and delivery termsใ

• Make approved supplier lists and check supplier performance.

Material Planning & Production Support:

• Make purchase plans and issue POs (Purchase Orders) for plant setup and mass production.

• Ensure raw materials arrive on time for the Production team.

• Solve urgent material shortages or delivery problems quickly.

Logistics & Inventory Control:

• Manage inbound and outbound delivery and transport.

• Control warehouse stock levels, material flow, and stock accuracy.

• Work with the Finance team on inventory costs.

BOI & Customs Compliance:

• Make sure all purchasing and import/export work follows BOI rules.

• Work with customs officers and freight forwarders for smooth clearance.

Cost & Risk Management:

• Find ways to save costs and follow company budgets.

• Solve supply chain risks (like late delivery or stock out).

Team & HQ Coordination:

• Work closely with Production, QA, Engineering, Finance, and China HQ teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fields.

Work Experience:

• At least 8–10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain in a manufacturing factory.

• At least 3–5 years in a manager or supervisor role.

• Experience with BOI and import/export customs is a big plus.

Language Skills: Good English communication skills.

Other Skills:

• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Can use ERP or purchasing computer systems.

• Good leadership and communication skills.
