Research and development Food production (Food technologist)

We are a leading manufacturer in the sport nutrition and dietary supplements (protein bars, whey protein, dry mixes) industry located in Pathum Thani. 

Position: R&D Manager (Food Technologist)

Responsibilities 

1. Managing, providing advisement, and oversee the execution of tasks according to the established work plan. 

1.2 Offer advice on research and development of both existing and new products, including the management of production formula documentation. 

1.3 Promote the development process of products to align with customer needs and legal requirements. 

2. Setting the operation guidelines (Master Plan) to be aligned with strategic plans and policies of company. 

3.Have experience working with vegetable fats, confectionary or glaze production

4. Participating in setting the goals and policies for the department, including establishing standards and success indicators. 

5. Planning the department’s budget and manage operational costs to align with the work plan effectively. 

5.1 Working with suppliers of raw materials, packaging materials, improve the cost of the product.

6. Organizing workflows and define working procedures and details, as well as participate in structuring roles and workforce planning. 

7. Coordinating with relevant internal and external agencies to gather information and seek collaboration on related tasks. 

8. Communicating company policies to employees and ensure proper compliance. 

9. Encouraging the good relationships and communicate necessary information, vision, and direction to employees for understanding and collaboration. 

10. Encouraging a personnel to work efficiently and maintain high morale. 

11. Training the staff, share experiences, and develop the team, while assessing performance and considering merit and disciplinary actions. 

12. Deciding on and resolve issues within the department and report to supervisors. 

13. Supporting and contribute ideas to improve production quality, such as 5S, ISO, GMP, etc.
