Safety Assist. Manager (Chemical & FMCG)

We are looking for:

• Safety Assistant Manager 1 position

Work Location: Amata City Chonburi Estate, Chonburi

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in chemical or petrochemical production facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirement.

• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, ISO 45001, OSHA standards, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Contractor Safety Management (CSM), and recommend corrective actions as needed.

• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures to reduce recurrence.

• Oversee emergency response systems, including drills, incident investigations, and preparedness planning to minimize potential impacts on personnel and operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Contractors, and Management) to ensure continuous safe operations and improvement of safety culture.

Qualifications & Work Experience: 

• At least Bachelor’s degree of Engineering/ or Science: Occupational Health and Safety qualified safety office

• Extensive experience in chemical and petrochemical production facilities, including continuous process systems such as reactors, distillation units, and storage tanks.

• Familiar with HSE regulations, ISO 45001, OSHA standards, Process Safety Management (PSM), and emergency response systems applicable to chemical and petrochemical industries.

• Strong knowledge in international EHS standard, Thailand EHS regulation.

• Good at communication in English and interpersonal skill.

• Sense of Urgency, Multiples issues handle ability.

• Strong in Leadership & Safety Awareness.

• Able to work at Amata Chonburi.
