What You’ll Do

As our Dry Product Development Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Product Innovation & Maintenance – Develop and maintain dry pet food products for Southeast Asia, ensuring they meet consumer needs and align with our global brand strategies.

• Quality & Compliance Leadership – Guarantee all product developments comply with Mars' global standards and regional regulatory requirements, contributing to our commitment to quality and food safety.

• End-to-End Project Execution – Lead product development from lab-scale prototypes to full industrial trials, managing commissioning, validation, and ensuring the accurate transfer of technical data into our systems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure smooth technology transfer, support production troubleshooting, and manage all project documentation and technical risk assessments.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Relevant Experience – A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, ideally with a background in R&D and the pet food or a similar industry (e.g., meat processing, extrusion).

• Key Skills – Strong project management skills, a scientific mindset, and proficiency in technical processes like risk assessment, iterative prototyping, and large-scale deployment.

• Soft Skills – Excellent communication, a strong drive for results, high learning agility, and the ability to adapt and navigate ambiguity effectively.

• Qualifications – Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field.
