Quality Assurance

Responsibilities :

Test Strategy and Planning

• Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on product requirements and designs. 

• Identify and implement testing tools, methodologies, and automation solutions.

• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand and clarify requirements.

Execution

• Execute manual and automated tests, including regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

• Ensure that all testing activities comply with the defined processes and standards.

• Lead and manage the QA team in day-to-day operations.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide junior QA testers in test case creation, execution, and reporting.

• Provide technical leadership and direction to QA team members.

• Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts across projects, ensuring alignment with release schedules.

Collaboration

• Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful delivery of quality products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure test coverage and early defect identification.

Defect Tracking and Reporting

• Track, report, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

• Analyze test results and defects to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Automation

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Continuously improve the test automation framework and coverage.

Qualifications : 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5-7 years of QA testing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead role.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Experienced in using automation tools

• Hands-on experience with various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT.

• Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
