MANUFACTURING ENGINEER II
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II – Molding to lead the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of injection molding and overmolding processes. This role is responsible for mold qualification, process development, tooling evaluation, DFM reviews, PFMEA implementation, and manufacturing readiness for new product launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background in electronics or automotive industries and hands-on experience with molding technologies and process improvement methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or technical support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in plastic injection molding and/or overmolding processes.
- Experience from electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of injection molding process parameters:

- Melt temperature

- Cooling time
- Cycle time

- Understanding of technical drawings and CAD 2D; CAD 3D is an advantage.
- Experience with Moldflow simulation or equivalent software is preferred.
- Knowledge of DFM, PFMEA, FMEA, and process validation activities.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (BOM, Routing, Production Planning).
- Experience in tooling, fixture, and manufacturing equipment development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines.
- Self-motivated, organized, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken).

What your background should look like
- Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Mold Engineer, Tooling Engineer, or Industrial Engineer with molding expertise.
- Proven experience in electronics, automotive, connector, sensor, precision plastics, or component manufacturing.
- Track record of launching new products, qualifying molds, and improving production efficiency.
- Hands-on exposure to troubleshooting molding defects and process optimization.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including Quality, Product Engineering, Tooling, and Production.
