Application Support - Manufacturing

Responsibility:

Provides technical assistance to users of manufacturing systems and/or software applications. Resolve issues or problems related to the expected performance of an application. Assist in maintaining data and database, including update of tables. Generates and maintains reports and portals that support the accomplishment of performance metrics.

Required Skill

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or engineering

• Must have at 1 to 2 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry).

• Must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc.) and electronic mail (MS Outlook, etc.); knowledgeable in at least 2 DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and ability to use standard SQL scripts; familiar with Windows or Linux operating systems; with knack for solving problems using available problem solving tools and processes; with oral and written communication skills; must be resourceful, analytical, has perseverance, with good customer service skills and is a team player.
