    Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) was founded in 1958 by Dr. Chaijudh Karnasuta and Giorgio Berlingieri following successful ship salvage operations. Listed on Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1994, ITD overcame 1997 financial crisis through business rehabilitation completed in 2002. Today, ITD is Thailand's largest infrastructure construction company and among Southeast Asia's biggest. Key projects include Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok Transit System (BTS), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), double-track railways, and Rama V Bridge.
