Pomelo is leading online fashion company in Emerging Asia. Our growth strategy is to merge our online focus of mobile and social with the latest trends, data, and physical store.
About the position: Pomelo is looking for a creative retail visual merchandiser to assist us in realising the vision of our first flagship store. The candidate must be on-trend with the latest fashion fads and have a good eye for presenting our collections in an inspiring and commercial way. Ultimately, the goal is to set up a store that is both eye-catchy and designed with intent to enhance a positive shopping experience and drive revenue. The work demands creative flair, a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy for the brand
- Plan and execute weekly store layout with store manager.
- Create appealing and eye-catching window display, mannequins, signs and promotional displays that draw Pomelo’s target customers into the store
- Dailyproduct display adjustments in order to manage inventory and maximize sale while maintaining brand aesthetics and amazing customer experience
- Develop a good understanding of Pomelo’s product, image and target customers in order to effectively convey the brand’s aesthetic with unification and consistency
- Source and buy props, shoes and accessories for the stores in a cost-efficient manner and always within budget
- Train and coach retail store staff in visual merchandising
- Gather feedback from customers and share with relevant team members for further improvements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degreein design or related fields.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in fashion retail visual merchandising/styling, experience within fast fashion brands such as H&M, ZARA and FOREVER21 preferred
- Great understanding of visual design theories (color theory, composition, etc).
- Excellent time management skill, with amazing attention to detail and can work under pressure and deadlines.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about design, aesthetics and current trends
- Positive with can-do attitude, flexible and a good team player
- Strong communication in Thai and English.
