We are currently looking for a talented individual who has direct experiences in OES in Automotive parts business to join our Team.  

Job position:              TRADE DEVELOPMENT SALES MANAGER (TDSM)
Business Type:           Automotive
Type of contract:        Full-time Contractor
Potential experience:   OES in Automotive parts business directly in Sales
% of Travel:               90%

Years of experiences:  Min. 3 years+

Main purpose of the role

This role is for a TDSM working within the automotive OEM parts sector for one of our main global automotive clients. Based in Bangkok but also will involve travel as required for the role. The TDSM will be responsible for aggressively driving sales in a specified territory working with OEM parts Dealerships and Independent Repairers to acquire OES market share, with a focus on enhancing our current client partnership and increasing overall incremental sales revenue and profitability. 

Responsibilities:

  • Increase OEM parts sales for potentially new and existing Trade Parts Dealers
  • Create and implement bespoke sales plans for Trade Parts Dealers
  • Instil best practice, through Coaching and class leading sales processes
  • Seek out and develop new parts sales channels alongside Trade Parts Dealers
  • To grow the trade parts sales through OEM parts Trade Parts Dealers
  • Operational implementation of initiatives and actions to achieve the targeted sales
  • Use analysis of spend patterns to prioritize activities to customers with the greatest growth potential
  • Feedback competitor market intelligence to the Marketing Manager
  • Repeat visits to existing and new independent repairers to reinforce the OEM parts growth
  • Create long term business relationships with the independent repairers
  • Act as brand ambassador for OEM brand in the field.
  • Prepare joint action plans with the OEM parts distribution partners to present customer feedback and to define countermeasures
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets & profitability
  • Overall responsibility for gaining parts market share in given area
Qualifications:

Candidate Specification (essential)

  • Thai Nationality only
  • 3 years’ plus, sales management experience within large automotive parts wholesaler, or successful OEM Dealer with unrivalled overall parts sales knowledge
  • Create and execute succinct business plans
  • Have a strong sales mentality and gain buy in from Trade Parts Dealerships at all levels
  • Sound understanding and demonstrable record of dealing with all types of independent repairers
  • Creative approach to discovering new customers
  • Ability to increase OEM market share against OES competition
  • Sound understanding and demonstrable record of leading and developing sales with multiple OEM parts distributors
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive parts sector (OEM / OES)
  • Proven track record in sales and target achievement
  • Ability to work with OEM Trades Parts Dealers at senior stakeholder level
  • Strong communicator – verbal and written
  • Proven track record of working in a fast moving, client focused environment
  • Well organised - understands how to manage multiple high priority projects
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to travel within allocated geographical area

Working hour:   8.30 – 17.30 (Monday – Friday)

Office location:  Rama IV Rd., Silom
Direction:          Close to MRT-Lumpini and Silom Station
