Develop the Thai Language and Culture curriculum according to the guidelines from the MoE.
To monitor the implementation of the Thai Language and Culture curriculum.
Plan and teach Thai Language and/or Thai Culture lessons according to the educational needs of students at The First Steps.
Plan, prepare and document lessons on a regular basis and as per the schedule set out by the Headteacher.
Manage curriculum delivery and associated resources in a manner that challenges and interests children and is appropriate to their needs and skill-levels, including catering for children with SEN and higher abilities.
Create written medium and short term planning to ensure that pupils develop at an appropriate pace, with clear differentiated planning and teaching.
Use IT to support and extend the curriculum.
Coordinate special events and ceremonies to celebrate Thai culture within the school community.
Supervise and teach children during two extracurricular activities per week.
The First Steps currently educates children from 2 years – 8 years old, however a new Primary School is being built which will provide for children up to 11 years old on completion.
