Our client is a leading electronics company. In this position, the successful candidate will provide supply chain support with regards to negotiation with suppliers and other activities relating to Commodity Management.

Description

* Provide support to negotiation with suppliers and all other activities relating to Commodity Management.

* To Coordinate and Lead a Team of Supply Chain Officers in managing the Supply Chain activities and provide support to the SC Director.

* Customer Interface: External and Internal with regards to pricing and mitigating material risks

* Reviewing Material Procurement Strategies with Purchasing Managers with regards to profit margin realization and supply risks mitigation

* Coordinating and Motivating a Team of Supply Chain Officers to meet the company Objectives

* Following up on Schedules and Timelines in ensuring that the RFQ Requirements are met in a Timely manner

* Ensuring all RFQ proposals are the most competitive and correctly done in a timely manner and meeting all requirements and ensuring that all RFQs are done in a competitive manner and are profitable for the company

* Liaising with Suppliers and working with the Supply Chain Director to ensure that there is Goal Congruence in all negotiations.

* Reviewing Strategies with SC Director and drawing up scheduled plans for Margin Enhancement

* Any other job deemed necessary

Profile

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related subjects.

* At least 15 years of experience in both Direct and Indirect Procurement within Electronics industry.

* At least 5 years of Team Management background.

* Able to work in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

* Results-oriented, goal alignment approach

* Suppliers/Vendors Management: Sourcing, Evaluation, & Comparison

* Supplier base Development/ Management

* Able to use Microsoft office, Excel (advanced) program.

* Advanced English skills.

* Superb communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

* Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.

* High ethical code of conduct and compliance control.
