Position Description
-
Responsible for accurate accounting of the projects on an accurate and real time basis. Work closely with the Design Directors & Local Management to analyse historical results and produce reports, budget & forecast results.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor or Master of Commerce, Finance or Accounting
-
Minimum 3 years experience in Finance & Accounting
-
Minimum 3 years experience in Finance/Business Analysis and/or Project Management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Advanced use of accounting software systems - Xero/Spotlight
-
Knowledge of Accounting & Revenue Recognition principles
-
Google Sheets, Google Suite, WorkFlowMax
-
Strong experience of invoicing & collection matters
-
Open minded, big picture thinking, able to explain financial processes to non financial people

Good written and spoken English skills
RELATED TASK
C Project Management
-
Revenue allocation and actual Profit & Loss for individual projects
-
Liaise with Design Directors and Project Managers
-
Ensure the work completed is formalized (Phase completion record)
Q Quality
-
To ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained and to evaluate where continual improvement can be made
Y Financial
-
Coordinate and review projects Invoicing and payment issues with Design Directors, Clients and Subcontractors
-
Prepare Projects P&L by closing revenue recognition, accrued and deferred revenue within 3 working days. Ensure revenue recognition is in line with accounting standards and group guidelines.

Prepare Cash Flow Projections Monthly out for 12 months

Prepare Billing and Accounts Receivable report based on Accounting data and hold weekly meeting (Weekly,Monthly)

Reconcile Billing schedule with the Account (Weekly, Monthly)

Support internal customers in improving the financial performance of the business
-
Prepare monthly reports and prepare commentary as to deviations and metrics and actions the business is doing to bring the business into line with forecasts
-
Work with peers to ensure consistent approaches and streamlined processes where possible are used

Ensure group policies and procedures are followed

Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor
