We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager with a solid Business background to join our team in Thailand and to support the growth of the Company, playing an active role in  Solar PV projects in the region.

The Regional Business Development Manager takes part in complete sales and commercial experience as she/he is responsible for engaging opportunities for closing contracts/ deals while maintaining good relationships with customers.

Together, with the support of other functions of LYS Energy (TH) to develop projects and engage as a team with the various stakeholders.


At its core, a business developer's activities:

  • Self motivated commercial with proven track record to transform a lead into a contractual deal
  • Work with partners, vendors, company’s engineers and program managers to ensure customer’s needs are met.
  • Manage the sales process for tenders and direct sales
  • negotiate with final customer the term of the PPA
  • Analyze needs of customer and reasons for lost projects
  • Collate the estimates of existing regional market potential for rooftop/captive solar projects
  • Support the team with Technical and commercial request
  • Revenue forecast and implement strategies to achieve, revenue
  • Create a roadmap for new product business development, initiate actions for generating sales.
  • Provide / organize sales support, monitor status, and ensure achievement on a sustained basis.
  • Ensure prompt follow -up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution, etc.

  • Excellent speaking and writing in both Thai and English,
  • Master’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience,
  • Self-motivated, fast paced candidates with 3-10 years of experience in handling solar PV power projects,
  • Good knowledge of Power Purchase Agreement,
  • Proper understanding of BOI process as well as ERC, DEDE, MEA and PEA Process,
  • Effective negotiation skills,
  • Solid organizational skills, 
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office applications,
  • Ability to coordinate, manage, and prioritize multiple projects and tasks,
  • Understanding project to create cost models for constructed costs and financial models for PPA modeling,
  • keen to travel.
