In line with our increasing business, AFRY (Thailand) Ltd. (former Pöyry Energy Ltd.) is looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the following position in our energy business in SEA countries.

SENIOR SOLAR POWER / RENEWABLE ENERGY CONSULTANT

Work Location: Bangkok, Thailand  

Responsibilities 

• Prepare conceptual design and feasibility studies for solar PV and potentially other renewable power projects
• Prepare technical due diligence for potential acquisition or financing of solar PV and other renewable power projects.
• Prepare energy yield analysis for solar PV projects
• Assist Clients with solar PV EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, and renewable power project development in general
• Act as lenders engineer in solar PV projects, doing construction monitoring and operations monitoring.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Higher professional degree in engineering field relevant for solar PV projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
• Good technical understanding of solar PV technology
• Capability to work in business development and proposal preparation part time
• Fluent in English
• Prior working experience in renewable energy field is an advantage, but also fresh or recent graduates with the right educational background can be considered
