Description

1. Prepare quotation on new projects.
2. Ensures that all RFQ responses & proposals are complete, accurate, on-time & consistent
3. Analyze data to determine root cause and implement corrective actions surrounding product issues.
4. Analyze product inspection and test data reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
5. Lead in new project cross-functional team to ensure project complete on time.
6. Plan/review project schedules. Provide weekly / monthly status reports.
7. Coordinate engineering activities with the customer and inside the factory
8. Resolves problems and conflicts in a timely manner.
9. Maintains effective communication with all departments.
10. Interface with Tool maker, QA, Maintenance, and Manufacturing on production and quality issues.
11. Create and implement engineering change requests.
12. Create/update PPAP, FMEA, APQP for new project launches.
13. Assist in maintaining tooling & engineering documentation.
14. Identify and coordinate the construction of any tooling and fixtures as required for parts production and inspection.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineerin
2. At least 5 years of working experience as a project engineer in the plastic injection molding industry.
3. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, construct schematics and work flow diagrams.
4. Strong project management skills and abilities in conflict resolution.
5. Proactive, coupled with drive & assertiveness.
6. Must have strong oral and written communications skills in English
7. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
