Senior Project Buyer

Project Purchasing/Purchasing Department

Position Scope :

- The Project Buyer will take necessary steps in compliance with Autoliv standard policies and procedures concerning direct material sourcing activities to ensure best total cost performance for all Autoliv plants in ASEAN region. The Project Buyer will act on various projects.

Position Scope :-

-Conducts purchasing project activities (Project follow up/Direct material tracking/Coordination between Purchasing and other departments).

-Occasionnally participates to reviews with suppliers.

-Participates to global project reviews with other Autoliv plants when appropriate

-Reports activities to Project Purchasing manager.

Candidate Qualifications :-

-Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields

-At least 5 years experience in Purchasing area, alternative project engineering with organization skills and cost focus.

-Thai and English speaker.

-Knowledge of Purchasing, Project Management, Product Design

-Automotive Manufacturing Background is preferable

-Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Internet

-Knowledge of basic ERP system is preferable
