As a result of ongoing and continued successes both within Bangkok and internationally, a leading E-commerce platform company has a job opportunity for an experienced Senior BI Analyst (x1 vacancy) to join its technology division based in Bangkok.
About the Senior BI Analyst Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Senior BI Analyst will play a key role in the technology and product team's continued development and success in its Bangkok office.
Salary Field: 60K-80K Basic salary + Performance Bonus + Health Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. GoogleBigQuery)
- Create tools to store data (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation e.g.System architect, User Manual
To succeed in this Senior BI Analyst role, you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of BI.
Key Requirements:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or relevant field
- Proven experience as a BI Developer
- In-depth understanding of database management systems (SQL), online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Oracle BI)
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
