Summary of the Function

• Responsible for delivering all aspects of the supplier operations quality assurance function on an on-going basis in line with the Quality Management system and quality policy to ensure that the business product and services are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for ensuring that supplier continue to develop and implement best practice that emphasizes defect, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvement and continuous to meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhere to.
• Responsible for providing leadership, outstanding people skills and management to a team of supplier quality engineers.
• Responsible for directing the activities of a specific department or departments within an organization.
• Manages other employees and ensures all business goals and objectives are reached.
• To provide, Implement, and administer quality assurance to ensure product reliability and conformance to engineering spec and customer specification.
• Coordinates activity with customer and vendors for all reliability and quality assurance standard and quality policy and procedure.

Main Missions of the Position

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of the best practice quality vision, strategy, policy, processes and procedure.
• Maintains customer satisfaction as to quality.
• Carry out supplier validation audits with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).
• Review documentation of inspection results across all areas with control plan and PPAP approval.
• Conducts and supervises studies to determine cause effect and corrective measure.
• Conducts customer and supplier visitations as require to confirm on specific qualification problem.
• Review and educates all variance on component and production.
• Responsible for a variety of quality functions related to improve quality and reduce cost through quality assurance on quality of conformance to reduce scrap, rework internal supplier material and customer's complaints.
• Support the organization goals in achieving total customer satisfaction.
• Review and identifier manufacturing problems or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and outgoing product quality, recommends solutions.
• Studies quality capability of machines and process and furnish results to design and manufacturing planning.
• Manage customer PPM, supplier PPM, supplier problem solving, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators.
• Initiate and participate in design of plans to raise quality level.
• Communicate effectively with team for customer's complaints and provide solution.
• Ensure that the quality of company products comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Know your customer's expectations and drive actions to meet them.
• Perform related work as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering

Experience :

• At least 12 years in manufacturing and Managerial skill in Quality Assurance system

Requirement :

• Fluently in English (written and spoken)
• Experience in multi-manufacturing company
• Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
• Six Sigma/Lean skill
• Experienced in working in multi-cultural environments
• Good presentation skills
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) e.g. X-R chart, P Control chart, Cp, Cpk
• QRQC (Quick Respond to Quality Control),
• Product requirement and defective analysis
• Risk Assessment PFMEA
• ISO9001 & ISO14001
