Position:                   Purchasing Officer (for Fastener Products) 

Location:                  BTS National Stadium station

Salary Range:           Up to 32K

Working Hours:         Mon - Fri; 8.30 - 17.30

Key Responsibilities:

  • to manage existing suppliers and also source new suppliers
  • to manage, analyze and optimize cost of purchasing
  • prepare and issue RFQ to potential suppliers in the list that match with the requirements upon receiving the orders from customers
  • collect quotations in time, review and analyze
  • communicate with participating suppliers and negotiate to ensure to fit within budget and target
  • select the supplier(s), and inform them of being selected (need to get approval from customers)
  • discuss and negotiate further with selected suppliers to meet cost reduction target
  • engaged for VAVE (Value Analysis Value Evaluation) processes coordination for both with customers and/or suppliers regarding any concerns
  • liaise between customers and suppliers and help conducting necessary activities within decided timeline
  • Introduce FSP (= Full Service Provider) to existing customers as well as/ concurrently look for and explore new customers 
  • update the price or/and products descriptions in the system which occurred from model changes/upgrade, raw material market price
  • manage data properly for managing and optimizing and/or for cost reduction

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mech Engineering, Business Administration, Finance/Procurement or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience of purchasing function in Automotive/ Automotive Parts companies
        (trading business is more advantageous)   
  • direct communication and price negotiation experience with many suppliers     
  • cost/price analysis   
  • involved in suppliers selection processes (product suppliers, not service vendors)
  • English : TOEIC700 equivalent level (please submit certification if have) for both Speaking and Writing- not job hopper (at least 3+ years in one company)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
