Position:  Purchasing Manager (Raw Materials Chemical) (80-120K)

Benefits:  80,000-120,000 Baht salary+ Other Benefits

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of strategies related to use/purchase of specific raw materials
• Work closely with technical and operations to implement alternative raw material suppliers
• Leading and motivating direct reports to accomplish cost savings and implement raw materials strategies
• Leading and motivating direct reports to accomplish cost savings and implement raw materials strategies
• Managing raw material supplier relationships
• Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability
• Ensuring that negotiated purchase costs, manufacturability and performance requirements of our raw materials meet the various
• Interfacing with, and representing the raw purchasing to, various suppliers, other global buyers and technical representatives to properly define costs, benefits, and logistical needs
• Maintaining close coordination with personnel from the supplier base, R&D/application labs, and manufacturing

Qualifications:

• Age between 30-45 years
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management ,logistics, accounting, engineering or any related field
• At least 5 years experiences as preferably in raw materials procurement or supplier management
• Good command in English
• Proven track record of cost reduction, negotiations and project management. Chemical industry experience is an advantage.
• Excellent cross-cultural and communication skills – written and oral
• Strong in negotiation , Strategic Thinking and Negotiation skills
