In line with our increasing business, AFRY (Thailand) Ltd. (former Pöyry Energy Ltd.) is looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the following position in our energy business in SEA countries.

Project Manager for Renewable Energy (Solar PV)

 Your scope of work will include the following:  

• Preparation and management of conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders engineer and independent engineer projects, and technical due diligence assessments for acquisition of renewable energy projects
• Management of EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations and renewable energy project development in general
• Preparation of energy yield analysis and management of various other technical consulting assignments for solar PV projects
• Preparation of reports for the clients as required and coordinating the internal report preparation process
• Possibility to expand role to include business development, proposal preparation and consulting contract negotiation, as well as project management of other type of renewable energy and thermal power projects

Much of the work involves writing reports in English language, so excellent English language skill is a must. The job includes occasional trips to other SE-Asian countries, so willingness to travel on short-term assignments is expected.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Higher professional degree in engineering field relevant for solar PV projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
• Industry background and more than 3 years work experience from power utilities, engineering or EPC companies or power sector consulting companies
• Good technical understanding of solar PV technology
• Capability to work in business development and proposal preparation part time
• Fluent in English; Thai is an advantage but not necessary
