Production Manager (Head of Extrusion)

Key Job functions and responsibilities: 

• Manage the Extrusion Department in order to match quality and targeted outputs for laminated reels.
• Train the staff to achieve high efficiency, low waste rate, good quality, and punctual delivery of the product and contribute the continuous improvement process. To liaise and co-operate with Internal Department Manager with an Objective to take over this responsibility in the longer term.
• Manage the Extrusion Department to produce laminated reels to agreed output levels with a maximum conformance to agree order to delivery time cycles and to agreed quality standards and waste level.
• Manage Raw-Material Warehouse and Semi-Finished Warehouse in order to match high storage efficiency, “first in - first out” principle and proper conditions.
• To improve continuously efficiency, waste level and productivity.
• To manage staff in a manner which is seen to be motivating, equitable and transparent. Also to ensure that all staff are trained up to their maximum potential, capability and job flexibility with an objective to “bring on” Thai supervision.
• To cooperate and participate in the development for existing and new products.
• To co-ordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that the machines are systematically maintained to maximum operational efficiency.
• Follow safety, environmental, dress-code, HACCP, GMP, ISO and company rules and regulations

Education:

• Bachelor degree and/or Master degree in Engineering, Science or related fields

Languages:

• Very good in English

Knowledge and experience required:

• Bachelor's degree or Master Degree in the faculty of Engineering, Science or related fields
• At least 15 year experience in production or manufacturing functions.
• At least 5 years in managerial level.
• Experience in extrusion, laminate film, plastic lamination.
• Experience in ISO 9001, Food safety, QMS, EMS, OHSAS are preferably
• Good interpersonal and accurate communication, personality and strong leadership, collaborative manner
• Must be available to work independent for flexible scheduling of working hour
• Communication in English of reading, writing and speaking is a must
• Good Computer Skills
