Overall responsibilities and duties:
Represents the customer voice and ensures the respect of the standards and procedures within the plant. Manages the quality department.
The main missions of the role are:
o Is the management representative according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and thus the warrant that all standards and procedures are complied with special focus on:
- o Customer standards
- o S/R Standards
- o Faurecia Excellence System and procedures
o Represents the customer within the plant and acts accordingly.
o Participates to the definition of the plant quality objectives, monitors progress and implements corrective action in case of deviation.
o Assure the completeness and archive of all relevant products/process data for traceability and product liability.
o Being responsible for the complaint management for both customers and suppliers ensures that complaints are managed in due time by using adequate Problem-Solving techniques and that 8D reports are robust and regularly updated
o Manages the quality department (budget, recruitment, allocation of resources, personnel development).
o Ensures capitalization and transversalization and shares best practices.
o Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance (customer expectations, safety and regulations issues, or similar).
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Engineer Bachelor/Master or technician with equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Minimum 8 years related experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred).
o Minimum 5 years related leading teams.
o High technical expertise and understanding.
o Great skills in the application of MICROSOFT standard software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook...).
o Ability to work in a matrix- organization.
o Able to work under pressure, tight time-lines and still deliver good results.
Skills and competencies:
o Good in verbal and written communication. Clearly conveying and receiving messages to meet the needs of all, incl. customer/supplier interfacing. Fluent in English.
o Able to collect and analyze data. Familiar with SPC.
o Knowledge of various Quality system methodologies: 8D- 5 Why´s, LEAN manufacturing, Pareto data analysis, FMEA, PPAP, etc.
o Deep knowledge of Customer standards and ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 requirements
o Good problem-solving skills. Able to break down a big problem into small pieces and helping to fix it.
o Prepared to discuss- and to present in front of the customer.
o Result oriented. Positive thinking behaviour. “Going the extra mile”.
o Capable to perform professional audits and reports.
