Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for reviewing and analysing business performance; highlighting opportunities and courses of action to improve group performance.
- Preparing financial and statutory accounts, providing accurate cost analysis, reporting, managing forecasts and ensuring effective business partnering and internal controls are adhered to.
- Directing and coordinating the organisation's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximise investments, and increase efficiency.
- Analysing the monthly Financial Statement / Profit & Loss Statement and Year-end Financial Statement.
- Managing various accounting activities in relation to assets, in particular;
- Capitalisation and disposal of fixed assets.
- Checking and control of work in progress.
- Controlling depreciation.
- Performing monthly checks between the fixed assets book and general accounting.
- Managing activities relating to the costing of new products.
- Running monthly inventory material costing.
- Preparing monthly reports related to fixed costs for the plant.
- Consolidating all site performance indicators into the monthly manufacturing deck.
- Supporting General Manager in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Providing necessary information, supporting the auditors for the annual audits and coordinating the requests for documentation.
- Liaising with government agencies to understand impact of customs privileges and fees.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Finance / Accounting / Costing & Tax field.
- At least 8 years of financial management experience with managerial capacity with experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in the use of SAP or ERP.
- CPD license will be an advantage.
- Ambitious, highly self-motivated, meticulous, results-oriented and an effective team player.
- Has good human relations, positive attitude, good planning, decision-making and communication skills, and knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
- Has good command of both written and spoken English.
