Exeltis healthcare is looking for Medical Representative for the promotion of its large portfolio including proprietary products, high value, innovative products branded generics.

Sector: Hospital channel
Report to: District Sales Manager
Area: Upcountry (Northern)

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible to promote, foster and develop the level of awareness of Exeltis portfolio.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge that enables to engage in meaningful dialogs, build credibility and add value when calling on the healthcare providers
  • Execute marketing plan and strategy by using approved marketing materials and resources
  • Support the development of marketing tactics
  • Plan, organize and implement special events to support the promotional strategies and territory goals
  • Effective partnering with all responsible parties to achieve all initiatives in the timelines
  • Create effective call plans that efficiently maximize call objective and frequency.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, competition, marketing practices and customer satisfaction
  • Detect customer needs, trends of the market in order to improve marketing and tactics strategies
  • Keep professional good relation with customers, KOL
  • Operate strictly within the Corporate code of conduct and compliance guidelines
  • Some overnights can happen for congresses or sales meeting

Required qualifications :

  • Education : Higher level or University desired
  • Valid driver’s license
  • A minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Experience in OB/GYN specialty and in launching new, innovative products desired
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a very competitive and dynamic market place
  • Customer focus, building positive and strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills, including written and verbal, required
  • Excellent organisational, planning skills required
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally
