Material Planning Controller

Key Responsibilities:

       Internal

• To control and management of all materials for production line.

        External

• To coordinate with other department and outside organization for support project.

Functional Responsibilities

• Parts process and complexity study.
• Control plan for material receiving picking and packing in the KD packing plant.
• Parts pick process development including error proofing for high complexity parts.
• Cost summary KD packaging and logistics development, trials and commissioning.
• KD pack lot receiving, up packing, kitting and distribution at Assembly Plant.
• Provide document flow at both sites.
• Provide document operation process instructions at both sites.
• Establish material delivery procedure, schedule and interface.
• Address material shortages, parts robbing, parts replacement in production line.
• Maintain and manage open point (NCR) on material before expediting acceptance. Liaise with QA department to ensure proper traceability.
• Daily logs will maintained which record all events to address any subsequent claims or disputes.
• Coordination on material movement with team.
• Prepare and maintain for material movement with team.
• Perceive deviation s from the material delivery schedule and manage job ensure meet the target and efficient.

Financial Responsibilities:

• Provide cost effective KD packaging and logistics development, trials and commissioning.

Travel Requirements: (key travel requirements)

• Average around 12 times per year

PERSON SPECIFICATION

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

•   Graduated Bachelor's degree in business or related field

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

1. MP&L experience minimum 5 years
2. Must be have experience in Material Plan and Control in automotive business
3. OEM experience in final assembly plant
4. Process, Material Handling and ERP skill
5. Good leadership, result oriented, analytical and good problem solving
6. Positive thinking
