Material Control Planner

Qaulification

• Schedule and control the supply of raw materials/components to meet production requirements and mininum stock levels.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the production line as and when required, avoiding disruption to production and take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
• Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials(BOM) and manage inventory accuracy
• Readcting to changes in demand and logistics
• Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule
• Understanding the basic rules of vendor management, allocation and price negotiation
• Minimize obsolete stock adn ensure business is left with minimum liability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• At least 3 years experiences in procurement of a manufacturing environment
• Negociation skills and the ability to network with people
• Numeracy skills and proficiency using IT
• The capability to work ina fast-paced environment and achieve targets
• Have professional procurement certificate will be and advantage for consideration
