We are now looking for professional and competent candidates for the position of Legal Manager.

Job description:        

• Manage all legal matters in respect of the Company’s business activities, including retail business, corporate & commercial transactions, labor & employment, joint venture agreements, tax, intellectual property, bankruptcy, rehabilitation, execution, license application, public & private company laws and international transactions etc.
• Draft, review and revise all kinds of commercial contracts and various forms of agreements or legal documentations in both Thai and English
• Prepare Thai and English translations of contracts and any other legal documents
• Provide legal advice, comment, opinion in terms of all legal issues related to the business of the Company and its affiliates in Thailand
• Negotiate on legal terms and conditions of contracts and any legal documentations, advise on new business ventures and transactional matters
• Attend business meetings as necessary in relation to the work assignments    
• Coordinate and contact with all internal departments, government authorities and external counsels in Thailand and overseas
• Manage Company and its affiliates’ preliminary litigation
• Perform general legal duties for the company and its affiliates
• Perform any legal counsel tasks as necessary as assigned by the Company
• Administer and responsible for running of all internal matters of Legal Department and supervise Legal Department’s staff
• Perform any legal services as necessary as assigned and required by VP Legal and/or other executives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor and Master degrees in Laws from recognized and distinguished universities
• Male or Female / Thai / Age 35-45 years old
• Minimum 10 years’ experience from law firm or in-house corporate lawyer from leading company, preferably from international law firm
• Excellent in both Thai and English communication skills (speaking, writing and reading)
• Positive attitude, maturity, reliable and independent
• Hard working, diligent and have legal and service mind
• Ability to work under pressure and demanding situations
• Lawyer License is required
