Trademark Officer
Responsibilities
:

  • Support Legal and Trademark Manager and coordinate with various departments in terms of trademark registration activities in ASEAN.
  • Effectively complete necessary processes for the registration, including coordination with various departments required documents and information, preparation of documents, correspondence, and reports relating to trademark registration, i.e. Powers of Attorney, quotations, search reports, filing reports, publication reports, reports on issuance of registration certificates, reports on office actions, status, timeline reminders, and settling overdue invoices.
  • Follow through to ensure the completion of the trademark registration process i.e. follow up with counterparts for developments of work, updating the new trademark system, recording all case deadlines and renewal due dates, closing disengaged files, and coordinating with other internal parties.
  • Provide accurate English/Thai translation of work-related documents and materials.
  • Provide administration, maintain and monitor 'records/information in the company’s database for further reference and ensure that all details are placed correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Other ad hoc activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law, JD, Master of laws or higher, preferably in Intellectual Property
  • Attorney at law license

Experiences:

  • Minimum three years of work experiences as an inhouse overseeing trademark registration, or an international law firm or a boutique law firm specializing in trademark.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Excellent command of English at management level is required for operational efficiency. Additional Chinese proficiency is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skill, good interpersonally and team spirit, high level of efficiency, self initiative.
  • Strong ability to think strategically and result oriented, to take decisions in economic, complex, and international business relations contexts.
  • Strong capabilities in networking and interacting with Thai and Chinese team.

Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate a walkthrough / internal testing of the controls.
  • Review control design documents of the responsible assessors as well as effectiveness testing results.
  • Assist Compliance Manager to monitor the self-assessment of Internal Control
  • Prepare report of review control designs as well as effectiveness testing for the local management together i.e. update status of self-assessment completion, open issue / remediation items.
  • Initiate maintenance of company-wide policy  related to compliance.
  • Coordinate / initiate regular meetings with management and process owners to receive updates business activities that might be relevant for compliance.
  • Coordinate inter-departments initiative for changes on policy related to compliance.
  • Develop tailor-made welcome package, facilitate and coordinate training session for relevant new personnel responsible for compliance according to HR schedule.
  • Arrange all aspects of communication, scheduling, logistics and others are in place prior to the training session.
  • Provide compliance consultation for internal employees i.e. ethical conducts, gift, benefit and invitation.
  • Support the Business Unit due to the implementation of Compliance Programs i.e. Due Diligence, Mandatory Consultation Process, Sales Integrity Check and Check against Sanction List.
  • Responsible to ensure all compliance documents records and training records are administered and filed properly.
  • Coordinate and support Compliance Manager in terms of Personal Data Protection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law/Economics/Accounting/Finance/Management,
  • Attorney license is preferably, but not a must

Experiences:

  • Minimum three years of work experiences as an inhouse, in charge of compliance related matters in an international companies.
