Jewellery Designer

As a Jewellery Designer position, you will respond in Jewellery design requires a lot of creativity, imagination and technical knowledge. To be successful in this profession, you'll need an expert understanding and command of design processes, such as cutting, shaping, polishing, stone setting, mounting, welding and engraving.

Description

• Responsible for new Jewellery product designs
• Create new designs for seasonal jewellery collections considering current fashion trends and targeted customers. Specifically, for American and European Markets
• Translate an idea or requirement into a coherent and practical design
• Conduct research and analysis and advice on market trends and customers need for product development

Profile

• Degree in Jewellery Design
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of solid experience with good hand sketch skills
• Knowledge in the jewellery production process
• Knowledge of Diamonds and Gemstones sizes and shapes
• Passion for jewellery, creative with strong fashion and jewellery insight
• Strong sense of the market trend in the luxury jewellery design and be able to create various collections to fit the market
• Conduct market research and analysis for product development
• Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and Photoshop
• Knowledge of CAD
• Knowledge in JewelCAD, Illustrator, Rhino, Matrix is an advantage
• Occasionally travel to trade shows in the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Dubai and Hong Kong is required
• Good communication (spoken and written) in Thai and English is mandatory
