KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being responsible for managing the infrastructure and systems across sites with respect to requirements and recommendations from global and regional IS/IT teams.
- Working with the regional and global teams to manage the infrastructure and systems across all respective sites with respect to standards and requirements.
- Contributing to build and communicate the vision of the Hub infrastructure and infrastructure services and serving as a technical expert.
- Participating in overseeing a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support as well as the maintenance. These activities cover a variety of hardware, software, network and service products in an information technology infrastructure environment.
- Leading and participating in local infrastructure/security-related projects.
- Providing internal customers with operational and technical support.
- Analysing and troubleshooting customer problems and advising on appropriate action.
- Pursuing service excellence.
- Providing technical support to internal customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
- Ensuring that written responses are accurate, professional, clear and concise.
- Ensuring that customers are provided with relevant user guides and advice for future reference.
- Ensuring positive relationships are built and maintained with all involved parties (business, team, suppliers).
- Ensuring that knowledge and experience are well documented and shared with colleagues.
- Ensuring governance processes are implemented and followed.
- Constantly educating the business in the value of IT/constraints of IT.
- Good experience of installation, monitoring and troubleshooting of Wintel Servers/Applications, Network devices, Wi-Fi & Cisco Call Manager.
- Basic understanding of WAN monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Video conference installation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to assist global applications - SAP, Hyperion, Outlooksoft, Magnitude, etc.
