JOB PURPOSE: 

As an IT Analyst, you will be mostly responsible for on-site manufacturing applications / devices support and troubleshooting. You will have the opportunity to work both independently or with a cooperative team on application deployment projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. You will be interacting more with different business units and understand the manufacturing business process in the current SAP ERP system and deploy new solutions and assist in enhancements.

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Candidate should have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills.
  • Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment.
  •  Must be able to configure and troubleshoot issues regarding desktops, workstations, and laptops. Must understand Microsoft Office Suite and be able to Install/Configure applications.
  • Availability to work off-shift when needed for systems changes or be on a call rotation to provide support should any systems be down on an evening or weekends.
  • Job requires extensive active movement throughout plant including but limited to Climbing stairs and steps, lifting of devices and pushing and pulling of equipment. 
  • General Networking skills, such as TCPIP settings on a PC, Cat5 Wiring, some knowledge of how VPN and Routers work. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member
  • Ability to convert BU requirements into IT requirements. (Demand Management) Be Voice of business to IT and voice of IT to Business.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors and other cross functional teams (like GIS etc ) for support and deployment
  • Knowledge of Cisco network hardware and software.
  • Experience in SAP ERP system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Handheld Scanners and their operation in a factory environment
  • Knowledge of mobile phone devices such as Apple, and Android Phone and etc.
  • Working knowledge of iPad and Windows Tablet and working within a Business network.
  • Experience with manufacturing applications (i.e. PINpoint , Freedom e log, Horiba etc)
  • Experience with the design, implementation, or support of control systems
  • Any other assignment;

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria:

  • Computer-related or Engineering-related four years College or University Degree;
  • 1-3 years of large, multi-tier architecture application support experiences;
  • Understand manufacturing process and can collaborate with manufacturing business partners;
  • Basic knowledge on SQL Programming and Database;
  • Basic knowledge on Server and Network;
  • Basic knowledge on PLC and Automation Technology ;
  • Knowledge on PC support;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills;
  • MCSE Certification, Dell PC Certification and / or A+ Certification
  • Understand IT Service Management and ITIL based support processes (Incident Management, Change Management Problem management)

Desired Qualifications:

The following criteria will be beneficial but not required:

 Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following business processes:
1. Strong business acumen on Manufacturing; 
2. Strong technical skills on Oracle or Linux;

3. Experience on Digital / Smart Manufacturing;
