THE ROLE
The Inventory Assistant is primarily responsible for providing sample seed request and support under shipments in order to comply with import - export regulations
across regions/countries and
involved in controlling sample seed's inventory for accuracy forecasting/planning.
The role will also responsible for providing current updated country’s rules and regulations to related functions.
SUPPORT SAMPLE SEED REQUISITION
- Handle all processes of sample seed request to support all department/countries concerned.
- Preparing and arranging both commercial and non-commercial varieties
- Coordinate with requesters and packing team
- Arrange shipments to comply with export regulation as well as import regulation of client’s countries.
- Coordinate with both related persons from import and export countries
- Keep updated country’s seed import regulation
- Coordinate with responsible people in the PDS seed production countries to insure ontime seed processing and distribution.
- Maintain and update sample seed Inventory.
- Secure and maintain seed quantity in inventory to be ready to use
- Record and report historical sample seed shipment data
- Registration of test variety in the ABS system
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or any related fields
- Minimum 1 year working experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management , agri business background is a strong plus.
- New graduate with an internship program /TOEIC 650+ is also welcome
- Can work well under deadlines environment and attentive to details
- Good interpersonal skills with “can do” attitude and service mind
- Passion to deliver results
