Description:  Manages the process to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the impact to business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to perform, monitor, and report on the process on an urgency of each incident
  • Record and classify received Incidents and undertake an immediate effort in order to restore a failed IT Service as quickly as possible
  • Responsible for communicating and leading with the Incident Process Owners and related parties such as Amway IT Global teams, Amway Local IT team, Amway Business teams, other related Service Providers
  • Point of contact for all Major Incidents
  • Responsible for the effective implementation of the process "Incident Management" and carries out the respective reporting procedure.
  • Represent the first stage of escalation for Incidents
  • Monitor the incidents to ensure that the Service Level Agreement are respected
  • Identify, initiate, schedule and conduct incident reviews
  • Ensure the closure of all resolved and end-user confirmed Incident records
  • Provide guidance to the Incident Process Coordinators
  • Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable.
  • Produce reports on a Weekly/Monthly basis for Internal clients
  • Require (sometimes) working after office hours (include Saturday and Sunday) for high priority and up incidents plus overdue incidents that become more critical
  • Work via multi channels of communications such as Email, MS Teams, Line, Whatsapp, phone call, Service Now, Jira etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required
  • At lease 3 years of relevant working experience in Incident Management in complex technology environments
  • Good understanding of production IT Environment and IT Operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer services skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Understands and has demonstrated the use of methods and techniques for the assessment and management of escalated incidents.
  • Knowledge of how to support the Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes while working escalated incidents
