- Overall responsible for complete customs related activities
- Proactively engage with internal stakeholders and designated custom clearing agents and ensure custom clearance of Trucks and spare parts from India, Japan, Brazil and other countries. Clearance to be completed well within the free storage time provided by storage yard at port.
- Incurrence of additional storage cost due in delay in custom clearance to be avoided at all costs
- Co-ordination with logistics provider to move the trucks/ parts to relevant storage location after competition of customs formalities. Movement on-time every time
- System updates: Complete and consistent system updates (SAP) as required by the existing processes after every shipment
- Records up keeping: Through documentation and storage of all relevant documents for easy retrieval at any point of time
- On time processing and submission of invoices from Headquarters to Finance and Controlling
- Account registration: Submission of all necessary documents and co-ordination with supplier to register the received trucks with Department of Land Transport Thailand on time (Critical process)
- On time processing and submission of all suppliers invoices and necessary documents to Finance and controlling
- Act as one stop source for all internal and external (HQ) queries on importation and customs
- Support all internal stakeholders with on time information and documents as required to report import records to various authorities
- Support the team in various supplier co-ordination activities related to new incoming trucks on need basis or as instructed.
- Other documentation support–paper based/system based on new incoming or stock trucks on need basis or as instructed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Handling of end to end customs clearance activities, preferably in Automotive sector
- Liaising, coordination experience with suppliers
