Location: Map Ta Phut, Rayong

This role report to the HSE Manager and is based in our Maptaphut Factory, Rayong
The primary focus of this role is to ensure the Plant Safety Plan, HSE legal obligation, HSE standard are implemented and reinforced Assist HSE Manager and Plant management to achieve HSE objectives, KPI and target.

• Inspect and monitor equipment, work areas, facilities and work practices and procedures for compliance with established workplace environmental health and safety rules, regulations and policies and prepare records and reports of findings.
• Maintain the database of laws, regulations, proposed legislation, and consensus standards concerned with workplace environmental health and safety; analyze the impact of new regulations and communicate changes.
• Investigate injuries and illnesses associated with the workplace, preparing photographs and other recording methods to document hazards, as necessary, and prepare reports and recommendations of investigation results.
• Coordinate and/or provide safety training on appropriate health and safety matters as assigned and as required by law.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate environmental health and safety monitoring and testing equipment.
• Conduct surveys of facilities and operations to identify potentially hazardous conditions and safety hazards with equipment, materials, apparatus, wiring, structures, vehicles, grounds and other outdoor activities and maintain records of survey results.
• Review contract documents, building plans and blueprints to assure appropriate health and safety codes are included and meet with contractors to establish safety policies/procedures as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contemporary environmental health and safety issues.
• Select, train, supervise emergency response team and maintain rescue tools ready to use.
• Serve on safety committees/councils as requested.
• Participate in institutional professional development and training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification and/or experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related fields with a Professional Safety License.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Occupational Health Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 would be an advantage
• Proactive, High leadership, Positive attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and computer skills
