An exciting Head of Product Development (x1 vacancy) job has just become available at a leading international life insurance company located in Bangkok, Thailand. With main responsibility of developing product innovations in Thailand and leading the business in its next phase of growth, this is a role for a leader in the field.
About the Head of Product Development Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Head of Product Development will play a key role in driving the product initiate for both a life and non-life company. Reporting directly to CFO and imanaging the team of 8 in the product development department, this is the role for the leader in the field. The salary range for this role is THB 350K - 400K per month with Health Insurance, Provident Fund, Allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance life insurance and non-life insurance product (A&H) in response to distribution needs and market trends
- Ensure all relevant activities are in compliance with the requirements of the channels and regulatory authorities
- Prepare development flow and market positioning, monitoring of post product launch, comparing actual experience to the key assumptions
- Work closely with Actuarial team to ensure product meet all stakeholders' requirements
- Monitor the sales and product performance through Product Profile Report, change of market environment, and competitor movement
To succeed in the Head of Product Development job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively cross functional internally to develop the strong schemes for the company to win in the landscape with an extremely strong market conduct culture.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum five years' experience in a product development role and implementation
- Experienced in actuarial and regulatory compliance filings
- Proven ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- A unique combination of innovative and analytical talent
- Able to conceptualise new ideas, understand the market research techniques and financial
- Have high degree of tolerance for uncertainty since new product development is changing
- Strong soft skills, especially in presentation and analytical skills
